• Equine / Equestrian Writing: I write for a variety of equestrian businesses and publications and specialize in a wide range of horse-related topics. I have worked in the horse industry in various jobs over the years, and graduated from Otterbein University with an Equine Business & Facility Management degree. I’ve been a horse owner, and competitor, in eventing/showjumping for most of my life, and I still actively own and compete with my two mares.
• Pet / Veterinary Writing: I have also worked as a dog & cat veterinary technician for 5+ years. I’m a lifetime owner of dogs, cats, and a variety of other pets over the years.
• Writing for Real Estate & Property Management: I also have been a property manager for 9+ years, and I’m a licensed real estate agent, so I can write knowledgeably on these subjects as well.
• Storytelling: When you’re told a story, your brain releases chemicals that form an emotional connection with the narrative, making it memorable. As a fiction author, storytelling is a natural part of my writing—even in my non-fiction content and copywriting.

• I’m also a small-business owner: As a self-published author, I learned copywriting, product descriptions, ad copy, website copy, and everything else that goes into being a small business owner from my own book business and sales. I not only have mastered the craft of writing, but I know what it’s like to be a business owner myself. I believe this gives me a unique advantage when helping other businesses with their writing needs.
